Arab Weather - The latest outputs from numerical computer models indicate that the Kingdom, particularly its northern regions, will be affected by a cooler air mass coming through the eastern Mediterranean basin, leading to a drop in temperatures, especially toward the end of this week, God willing.
In detail, a moderate air mass coming from the eastern Mediterranean basin and the Levant region is expected to push into parts of the Kingdom, affecting Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and the Northern Borders starting at the end of this week, accompanied by a drop in temperatures.
Maximum temperatures in the aforementioned areas are expected to drop to between 28-30°C, with moderate to hot weather prevailing in the afternoon, while minimum temperatures at night will drop to between 12-14°C. Therefore, the temperature differences between day and night will become sharp and may exceed 15°C, so it is recommended to wear light coats during the dawn and early morning hours. The weather will be cool to relatively cold.
The weather in the rest of the regions will be relatively hot during the day in the central and eastern regions of the Kingdom, while it will be hot in Tihama, with maximum temperatures approaching 40°C. In the southwestern mountain ranges, the weather will remain moderate (the Kingdom’s summer resorts), due to the elevation of these regions above sea level. Clouds will appear with the possibility of rain showers in parts of Jazan and Asir, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and hail.
And God knows best.
