Arab Weather - Experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center expect the Kingdom to witness a relative decrease in weather activity on Friday, August 29, 2025, compared to previous days, as cumulus clouds increase over the southwestern and western highlands. However, they will be less widespread and abundant than in recent days.
Latest computer modeling results indicate that rainfall will be concentrated in scattered parts of the highlands of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha. These areas are expected to experience occasional heavy rainfall, accompanied by hail. Less intense clouds are also likely to form over limited parts of Taif and eastern Makkah, with no direct impact on the city of Makkah or the holy sites.
The forecast team explained that cloud activity and rainfall will be concentrated in the afternoon and early evening hours, before the weather gradually stabilizes across various regions thereafter.
