Strong effects of Storm Gabrielle (heavy rain and waves as high as three residential floors) on Portugal

Arab Weather - Satellite images captured by the Arab Weather Regional Center indicate that Extratropical Storm Gabrielle is centered off the western coast of Portugal. The storm is gradually moving towards land over the coming hours with remarkable force, amid concerns of potentially dangerous weather effects.

Strong winds and huge waves

According to the weather maps at the Arab Weather Center, Storm Gabrielle will bring with it very strong winds and violent winds exceeding 100 km/h, in addition to rough waves that may exceed 7 meters. These weather conditions are also expected to be accompanied by very heavy rains, which may lead to flooding and torrents in some low-lying areas.

The effects extend to Spain

The storm's impacts are not limited to Portugal.
