Sultanate of Oman: Chances of thunderstorms continue in many governorates tonight and tomorrow

From the Arabia Weather Center - The latest satellite images indicate the continued flow of quantities of clouds at different altitudes over most of the northern governorates of the Sultanate tonight, interspersed with special cumulonimbus clouds over parts of the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, and South Muscat, as a result of the continued passage of A cold air front in these areas is accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms.

As for Tuesday dawn and morning, weather conditions are expected to be ready for rain clouds to form in the Sea of Oman with the possibility of flowing into some coastal areas and accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity. Some rain clouds will extend to parts of the Hajar Mountains in the afternoon.

The depression will move away from the Sultanate’s atmosphere on Tuesday evening and Wednesday, causing rain chances to decrease in most areas.
