Arab Weather - A distinctive and more accurate image of the Earth that was taken in 2017 by the Russian weather satellite Elektro-L to give an unfamiliar and different vision from previous Earth images that were taken.
Apart from the standard blue images of the globe and other images taken by NASA, which take multiple images from several places of the Earth to be combined together to give the complete picture, we see in this 121-megapixel image how the entire Earth was collected in one shot.
Where data based on visible and infrared light waves were used in this image, a technique that turns the vegetation a red color that somewhat resembles rust.
The satellite captured images from a single point over the Indian Ocean 35,000 kilometers away every 30 minutes, which were then combined to create a video by Dr. James Drake to show a full day of the planet's life.
