The Mufti of Jordan announces the start of the month of Dhu al-Qa’dah 1443 after the sighting of the crescent has not been proven

Weather of Arabia - His Eminence, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Khasawneh, announced that after the sighting of the crescent of the month of Dhul-Qa’dah was not proven, that Tuesday, May 31, 2022, is the completion of the month of Shawwal, and accordingly, Wednesday, corresponding to the first of June 2022, is the beginning (beginning) of the month of Dhul-Qa’dah for the year 1443 AH.

Accordingly, the investigation of the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah will be on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, and the astronomical calculations at the Arab Weather Center indicate that the beginning of the astronomical month of Dhu al-Hijjah will be on Thursday, corresponding to the thirtieth of June 2022, and based on the same astronomical calculations, it is expected that standing on Arafat will be Friday the eighth of July and Eid al-Adha on Saturday the ninth of July 2022.
