Arab Weather - Several Arab countries will be affected in the coming days by heat waves believed to be the strongest and longest in terms of duration since the beginning of summer this year 2026. It is expected, God willing, that the heat waves will include 8 Arab countries, making them among the hottest regions in the world, and thus the Arab countries will join the global scene represented by scorching heat waves.
It is expected, God willing, that heat waves will affect large areas of the Arab world between July 13th and at least July 25th, including Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia (especially its eastern regions), the UAE, Oman, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. Temperatures are expected to rise significantly in the coming days, reaching well over 40 degrees Celsius.
On the other hand, the effects of the heat wave could be scorching, raising temperatures to exceptional levels approaching 50 degrees Celsius in areas of southern and central Iraq and Kuwait, the eastern parts of Saudi Arabia and large areas of the Emirates, especially the desert, reaching the interior regions of the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to the desert regions of Algeria.
Indicators show that the heat wave coming to the aforementioned countries is believed to be the longest in terms of duration and the most severe in terms of impact, as it is accompanied by temperatures believed to be the highest since the beginning of the current summer season, and some locations may record temperatures higher than in several years for the month of July.
And God knows best.
