Arab Weather - The weather systems in the Northern Hemisphere, specifically the Arab world, will be affected by an upper-level low-pressure system affecting the Maghreb countries in the coming days, bringing thunderstorms to several regions of the Maghreb. Meanwhile, several regions in the Middle East will be affected by surface thermal lows accompanied by a rise in temperatures and a near-summer atmosphere.
The Maghreb region is experiencing an upper-level low pressure system, accompanied by unstable weather conditions, leading to the proliferation of cumulonimbus clouds and rainfall in several regions of Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. This rainfall is likely to be heavy in certain narrow geographical areas, leading to flash floods and the formation of water pools.
At the same time, the Levant, Egypt, and the Arabian Peninsula are affected by low-pressure systems, but of a different type. These are thermal low-pressure systems that occur in the layers of the atmosphere close to the Earth's surface, accompanied by a significant rise in temperatures and a climate more similar to summer than spring.
Scientifically speaking, there are several types of depressions. Some are located in the upper layers of the atmosphere and are called cold upper troughs, atmospheric depressions, or, in the scientific term, "Upper Lows." Others are located only in the surface layers of the atmosphere, without penetrating into the rest of the atmosphere. Examples of this type include the Khamaseen depressions and the heat depressions in the Arabian Peninsula during the summer.
This explains why we say that there are two air depressions, one of which brings heat and the other of which brings rain. This is only part of a world filled with complex information and phenomena, namely the world of weather and meteorology.
And God knows best.
