Two earthquakes hit the Red Sea region near Saudi Arabia and Sudan

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Arab Weather - <strong>The US Geological Survey</strong> reported, on Saturday, that <strong>two earthquakes had been recorded in the Red Sea region</strong> near the coasts of <strong>Saudi Arabia and Sudan</strong> .</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The authority explained on its website that the first tremor <strong>measured 4.7</strong> on the Richter scale, and was about 197 kilometers northeast of the city of Tokar in the Sudanese Red Sea state, while the second tremor measured <strong>4.2</strong> and was about 174 kilometers northeast of the city itself.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> For its part, the Saudi Geological Survey stated that seismic monitoring stations recorded an earthquake in the middle of the Red Sea, 161 kilometers west of Al-Laith Governorate in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, at 12:09 am on Saturday morning.
