Arab Weather - God willing, large parts of Turkey are expected to be affected by atmospheric instability this weekend, accompanied by thunderstorms across large areas, concentrated in the eastern parts on Thursday and Friday, and intensifying on Saturday to include wider areas in northern and central Türkiye.
Arab Weather forecasters said this rainy season is the result of cooler-than-usual air rushing from the upper atmosphere toward Turkey, while warm, humid air from the south continues to prevail. This will lead to unstable weather conditions due to the large temperature differences between the upper atmosphere and those near the surface.
According to the latest indicators, the effects of the atmospheric instability and thunderstorms remain far from the atmosphere of the Levant, and are concentrated only over Turkish territory due to the distance of the cold upper basin from the region and its failure to deepen further south. In addition, the high pressure system dominates the atmosphere of the Levant, which limits the deepening of the cold upper basins that are rushing towards Turkey to the south. Therefore, the impact on the Levant countries is limited to the rush of moist and gentle sea currents that create a more moderate atmosphere than usual over the region.
