Arab Weather - The weather maps in Arab Weather indicate that the rise in temperatures will coincide with the Kingdom being affected, God willing, by unstable weather conditions at intervals of time, peaking during the evening and night hours of Friday/Saturday. It is expected that the unstable weather conditions will be accompanied by thunderclouds that are characterized by being irregular in their distribution in terms of time and geography.
However, what is distinctive about these thunderstorms is what is known as the sudden strong winds that usually cause sandstorms in desert areas in such cases, and the possibility of dust spreading to include areas far from the formation of thunderstorms is monitored.
Wednesday night/Thursday morning: The weather will be mostly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with medium and high clouds, and there is a possibility of rain showers during the late night and dawn, which may be accompanied by thunder at times in the desert areas. The possibility of rain extending towards other areas of the south and center of the Kingdom is also not ruled out.
And on Thursday, April 16, 2026 : In conjunction with the relatively hot and dusty weather, the Kingdom will be gradually affected by unstable weather conditions, especially during the afternoon and evening, where thunderstorms are possible in random areas. Thunderstorms in the areas where they occur will be accompanied by active to strong winds that will cause dust storms, especially in desert areas, God willing.
Friday, April 17, 2026: Dust levels will increase progressively in the atmosphere, specifically in the afternoon and late afternoon hours. Unstable weather conditions will develop, peaking in the evening and night hours of Friday/Saturday, with the formation of thunderclouds over random areas and at widely spaced intervals throughout the day. These thunderclouds will be accompanied by chances of rainfall, God willing, which may be locally heavy and accompanied by hail showers in some geographical areas, thus increasing the chance of flash floods in valleys, including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea region.
It is expected to be accompanied by sudden strong winds that may exceed 70 km/h, leading to the formation of dust and sandstorms that may extend from the desert areas to wider areas and may reach the cities. It is also expected that the sea waves will rise in the Gulf of Aqaba as a result of the wind activity.
And God knows best.
