Urgent - Riyadh | The Meteorology Department raises the warning level to orange due to a weather condition involving thunderstorms.

The National Center for Meteorology announced that it has raised the weather warning level to orange in the city of Riyadh, as a result of the city being affected by a state of atmospheric instability.

Forecasts indicate that the region will be affected by a number of associated weather phenomena, most notably:

• Moderate rain
• high-speed winds
• Near-zero horizontal visibility
• Thunderstorms
• Hail fell
• The occurrence of water accumulations.

The center called for caution, especially while driving, and urged people to avoid areas where water accumulates and valleys, and to follow updates regularly.
