Arab Weather - Arab Weather's weather maps continue to indicate that areas west of the Mediterranean will be affected by a highly effective rainy weather condition, which will, God willing, bring unstable weather conditions, heavy rains, and hail to various parts of Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, in addition to countries in southern Europe.
Arab Weather forecasters said that a complex weather system is expected to develop tomorrow, Tuesday, in the western Mediterranean and affect the Maghreb countries (Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia), represented by the convergence of cold winds coming from the north, coinciding with the rush of warm and humid currents from the south. This will lead, God willing, to the development of a state of atmospheric instability and moderate to heavy thunderstorms, including parts of northern and central Morocco, Algeria and parts of Tunisia.
The weather system is expected to be accompanied by the formation of strong cumulus clouds due to high humidity in the atmosphere, in addition to high temperatures in the atmosphere near the surface. This means high atmospheric instability, which portends heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and hail, increasing the risk of flash floods in some affected areas.
As cold winds continue to flow from the north, a low-pressure system is expected to form in the afternoon and evening hours of Tuesday to the northeast of the Balearic Islands in eastern Spain. It will then move eastward, accompanied by a cold front with heavy rain, which will primarily affect Italy and several countries in southern Europe during the late hours of Tuesday night/Wednesday and the morning of next Wednesday.
Arab Weather experts said that forecasts indicate heavy rainfall in various parts of Italy and southern European countries over a short period, especially during the day on Wednesday. The forecast warns of thunderstorms, heavy hail, and flooding in some areas.
