Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest computer map readings indicate that Iraq will be affected this week by significant weather and temperature fluctuations. The chances of recurring dust storms are increasing, leading to a significant decrease in horizontal visibility in several areas, God willing.
God willing, Iraq is expected to be affected on Sunday and Monday by a deep surface-level heat depression. The country will be increasingly affected by the hot air mass, which will cause temperatures to rise further, reaching 4-6 degrees Celsius above their average for this time of year. The weather will be hot to extremely hot, especially in the southern regions.
Maximum temperatures will exceed 40 degrees Celsius in several areas of the central and southern parts of the country, and will even reach mid-afternoon and afternoon in some parts. At the same time, clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, and there will be a chance of thunderstorms in parts of the north of the country, especially in the border areas.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will drop slightly, but the weather will remain hot and gradually turn dusty, starting from the west of the country, passing through the capital, Baghdad, the north of the country, and the rest of the regions. The dust will be of varying density, with clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes. There will be a chance of thunderstorms in parts of the north of the country, which may spread randomly to the rest of the regions.
And God knows best.
