Arabia Weather - Wetlands on the Earth's surface are of great importance in preserving biological diversity, and although they cover only 6% of the Earth's surface area, they host 40% of all types of plants and animals that live or reproduce in them.

Wetlands are ecosystems in which water is the primary factor for plant and animal life. These lands include lakes, rivers, swamps, oases, estuaries, coastal areas, coral reefs and others. Wetlands are described as the “kidneys of the Earth,” helping to rid the planet of greenhouse gases.
